Unfortunately the US dollar to GBP exchange rate is very much against us at the moment, so we are having to increase the prices of many domain extensions to accomodate this.
We try and ride out changes where possible in the hope that things return to the median, but it’s getting very significant now, so we are having to act.
This affects many domains including .eu and most country specific domains such as .fr, as we are charged in US dollars for the majority of them.
As such, in line with our transparent domain pricing policy, this cost has now been factored into prices for the following domains going forwards:

Pricing for .uk domains via the Domain Store and the New Control Panel will also increase proportionally, as these are supplied and managed via the same provider in those instances.
Customers on legacy accounts not yet migrated to the new systems will continue to receive current pricing on .uk domains. Please note though that the .uk registry is changing their pricing for these domains and this will be live on our systems no later than the end of this month.
* .eu domains: The above pricing also reflects a planned increase in registry charges for .eu domains, which also add to the cost for these.
